Dr. Strobel to Continue Leading Catonsville Practice
Catonsville, MD (11/18/2025) – Dermatology Partners, the premiere, privately owned and physician-led dermatology group, is pleased to announce the acquisition of David Strobel, MD Dermatology, a well-respected dermatology practice that has been serving the Catonsville community for more than four decades. This acquisition takes effect December 1, 2025.
The practice, located at the Catonsville Medical Center, 716 Maiden Choice Lane in Catonsville, will continue to be led by Dr. Strobel. The entire medical team at Dr. Strobel’s practice will remain and continue to serve the community. This strategic expansion strengthens Dermatology Partners' presence in Maryland, ensuring continued access to high-quality dermatologic care for area residents.
A board-certified dermatologist known for his commitment to excellence in patient care, Dr. Strobel has more than 40 years of experience treating conditions like tinea versicolor, eczema, psoriasis, and contact dermatitis, among many others. He not only runs his own private practice but also works at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital.
Dr. Strobel earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his dermatology residency at the Medical College of Virginia. He also completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Agnes Hospital.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and has been honored with a Physician Recognition Award from the American Medical Association.

The addition of Dr. Strobel’s practice will be Dermatology Partners’ 40th office in the Mid-Atlantic. Dermatology Partners has continued its expansion, most recently with the addition of new offices in Chambersburg, Kutztown, and Doylestown, PA and welcomed new providers, Dr. Balu, Dr. Khan, Dr. Jin, and Dr. Sun, along with the promotion of Andrew Vail to Senior Director of Clinical Development and addition of Joseph Stultz as Director of Training and Adrienne Ralph as Director, Marketing & Communications.
