Dr. Eugene Brooks is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained dermatopathologist with advanced training from The Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he completed his dermatology
residency and dermatopathology fellowship. He also holds board certifications in anatomic and clinical pathology, reflecting his extensive experience in diagnosing and evaluating skin diseases.
During his training, Dr. Brooks received multiple academic and service honors, including the Siegfried Werthammer Pathology Award. He has been actively involved in clinical research, including studies utilizing artificial intelligence to assist with skin cancer surgery and studies evaluating prognostic variables of high-risk cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma.
He has authored and presented numerous peer-reviewed publications and case studies at national dermatology and dermatopathology conferences. Recognized for his dedication to teaching and compassionate care, Dr. Brooks received the Resident Award for Teaching from The Johns Hopkins Department of Dermatology. His professional memberships include the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), American
Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), and the American Society of Dermatopathology (ASD).
