Dermatology Partners has expanded its commitment to high-quality patient care with the opening of a state-of-the-art dermatopathology laboratory in Pottstown, PA. The new, larger facility enhances diagnostic capabilities, ensuring faster and more accurate results for skin cancer detection and other complex dermatologic conditions.
Pottstown, PA – (2/19/2025) – Dermatology Partners, the premier privately owned, physician-led dermatology group practice specializing in medical and surgical dermatology throughout the Mid-Atlantic, is proud to announce it completed a new state-of-the-art dermatopathology laboratory in Pottstown, Pennsylvania in January 2025. The new lab is designed to offer fast, accurate, and consistent diagnostic support to identify critical skin cancers and diagnose other rare and challenging diseases of the skin.
Located at 2023 E High Street, Pottstown, PA 19464, the new lab will be more than 3,000 square feet, 300% larger than the previous lab, enabling Dermatology Partners to scale for the next five years. The second floor of the renovated historic building will also provide expanded space for the billing department.
Dr. Orr Barak, MD, PhD, FAAD will lead dermatopathologist practices at the Pottstown laboratory. The new location will allow him and his team of 10 full-time professionals to provide results faster and more efficiently. It will also support more than 60 providers and have four full-time dermatopathologists in support of dermatologists caring for their patients.
